HOW LONG DO LEDS LAST?

LEDs are a very long-lasting product, but they don't last forever. the average lifespan of an LED is typically up to 50,000 hours. This is 50 times longer than an average incandescent lamp, 20-25 times longer than an average halogen lamp, and 8-10 times longer than an average CFL. If used 12 hours a day, an LED rated at 50,000 hours can last more than 11 years. With 8 hours of use per day, it can last 17 years!


Why does led doesn't work?

LEDs are long-life light sources and usually do not fail suddenly, but gradually lose brightness and performance over time. In other words, the led will fade and not really glow. the rate at which the LED brightness decreases depends on operating conditions and external factors such as changes in temperature, relative humidity and thermal load. In some poorly designed LED lamps, poor heat dissipation can lead to overheating, which can cause the LED to burn out completely or increase the rate of brightness degradation. The LED driver that provides the power can also be unreliable, leading to premature failure, usually when the driver fails while the LED is still operational.
