LED lamp aging test is an experiment for preventing and managing the quality issues with LEDs.

By changing the frequency or voltage as well as other components, LED light aging line imitates the short-term high voltage, sudden power outage, or other unexpected situations that may occur during actual use.

Through LED lamp aging testing, it can be determined whether the LED was harmed during assembly and whether the power supply is reliable in extreme settings, automatically checking and taking out the unqualified lamp.

The ageing test is flexible in its actual use, which not only allows it to satisfy applicable standards requirements but also increase production efficiency.

The Operation of LED lamp aging test

The automatic aging line has the function of setting different inrush current, high, low, and normal voltage. At the same time, there will be a counter and a timer in the testing device, which allows manufacturers to set the time and determine the number of times the light switches on and off.

Aging technology will conduct high-voltage, low-voltage, current impact, power on and off tests on lighting fixtures. There are different solutions for setting the voltage when conducting testing, for instance, AC120V will be used as normal voltage for American standards and AC 230V will be selected for European standards. Also, the duration of each project will vary depending on the lighting fixture. These steps will take 1 to 24 hours to complete.
