Color temperature of light fixture and it's suitable place
In light fixtures the names of different colors are classified according to their color temperature, ranging from "warm white," "cool white," "white," "daylight," and "natural light." Generally, fluorescent lights are sold in three colors - warm white, daylight, and natural light. The Kelvin values of warm white light are at 2,600-3,250K, while for natural daylight, it's 5,700-7,100K, which is roughly twice the difference. The variation in light color between a white color and an orange tint found in bulbs is due to the difference in the Kelvin measurement. Kelvin is the unit of absolute temperature, expressed in "K." These Kelvin values vary slightly among manufacturers, resulting in slight differences in how they appear despite having the same color.
Each color has its suitable and unsuitable installation places. Here are some recommended installation locations for each color:
- Warm White: This color produces a laid-back atmosphere that creates a relaxing space. It's highly recommended for indirect lighting to induce heightened relaxation. Warm white is also known to make meals more elegant, making it very suitable for dining areas.
