Color Temperature in Lighting Fixture

In lighting, color temperature is an important parameter, which affects the effect and atmosphere of lighting. The following are some characteristics and considerations of color temperature in lighting: 

Illumination: Illumination is the degree to which an object is illuminated, measured in lux. The higher the color temperature, the higher the illumination, the color is cold; the lower the color temperature, the lower the illumination, the color is warm. Therefore, when choosing lamps, you need to choose the appropriate color temperature according to the illumination requirements.

Color rendering: Color rendering refers to the property of a light source to reveal the color of an object. Light sources with different color temperatures have an effect on the color rendering of objects. Generally speaking, high color temperature light source has lower color rendering, while low color temperature light source has higher color rendering. Therefore, when choosing lamps, you need to choose lamps with high color rendering according to your needs.

Glare: When the brightness of light exceeds the level to which the eyes can adapt, it will bring discomfort and a blinding sensation to the eyes. In lighting design, you should avoid the use of high color temperature bright light fixtures to avoid glare.

Application scenarios: Different application scenarios require different color temperature to create different atmospheres. For example, in the home, restaurants and other places, usually use a low color temperature of the warm tone lamps and lanterns to create a warm, comfortable atmosphere; while in the office, shopping malls and other places, usually use a high color temperature of the cool tone lamps and lanterns to create a refreshing, bright atmosphere.
